RAVE To whoever put cut flowers in the ladies room on the ferry M/V Walla Walla. An elegant touch that made me smile.

RANT To the annoying group sitting in front of us at a recent Ste. Michelle winery concert: Your continual public displays of affection, laughing and talking was more than distracting to those seated nearby. At intermission when I politely asked you to stop talking you replied that you bought your ticket and had the right to enjoy the concert in any way you chose. The snap, snap, “zip it” comment couldn’t have been more rude and your obnoxious behavior continued to the end of the concert. If your intent was to ruin the concert for others you were highly successful!
