Daily Rant & Rave: North Bay pillagers and helpful skatepark couple
Times readers share their encounters with the good and the bad. Send yours to the email address below
RAVE To the couple at the skatepark who appeared with paper towels, antiseptic wipes and bandages to help patch up a 5-year-old with a nasty cut, while I juggled two other kids, called parents, and researched the nearest urgent-care facility. Three stitches later, everyone is fine and raring to get back on their skateboards. I hope you know how much your help was appreciated!
RANT To people who pillage the beaches at North Bay, who don’t get a license, go over their limit of clams and leave litter. Be considerate of all who are trying to enjoy the beach and follow the rules. Continued mistreatment will result in devastation to the beauty that we share in our exceptional state.
