Daily Rant & Rave: Car gets hit — a rant? No, it’s a rave

Times readers share their encounters with the good and the bad. Send yours to the email address below.

RAVE To the person who hit my car while I was at work and left a note with their contact info, and to the many people who offered to help move my car out of the street before the tow truck arrived. What could have been such an upsetting experience turned out instead to represent kindness, integrity and honesty.

RANT to SIFF snobs who tried to cut in line in front of me after I got up early to stand in line for a good seat. They said, “It’s tradition.” Bull. Go to the back of the line.

The Seattle Times publishes reader rants and raves on a space-available basis. We reserve the right to edit for length or content. Send yours to rantandrave@seattletimes.com.
