RAVE To the man whose car I rear-ended when I was distracted for a moment, totally my fault. When I got out of the car almost in tears, he was understanding and calm instead of being angry or aggressive. He reassured me that everything was fine and kindly showed me that no serious damage was done, making a humiliating moment into a learning experience. The world needs more people like him!

RANT To the people who had a bonfire in Lower Woodland Skatepark. We arrived in the morning hoping to skate. Instead, we spent an hour cleaning up a pile of burnt wood and sweeping up smashed beer bottles that were strewn all over the skatepark and the adjacent soccer field.
