MOUNT RAINIER NATIONAL PARK, Wash. —

The National Park Service is celebrating its 97th birthday on Sunday with free entrance to Mount Rainer National Park.

Other national parks around the country will also be celebrating the anniversary with free entrance fees.

Rainier National Park officials say wildflowers are in bloom throughout the park. They invite families to make one more visit before getting ready to go back to school.
