COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — A 14-year-old Spokane boy drowned while swimming at Blue Lake, south of Coeur d’Alene.

The Kootenai County sheriff’s office says the body was found by side scan sonar on Sunday afternoon and recovered by divers in about 15 feet of water. The boy disappeared Saturday after he became separated from three other children while swimming near a boat.

The Spokesman-Review reports Mitchell Raymond was a student at All Saints Catholic School in Spokane.
