2 people injured in Highway 195 crash

Two people were injured in a head-on collision on busy Highway 195 near Spokane.

SPOKANE, Wash. —

Two people were injured in a head-on collision on busy Highway 195 near Spokane.

The Washington State Patrol says the crash occurred Tuesday morning near Cheney-Spokane Road when a vehicle that was traveling in the wrong lane of the divided highway smashed into an oncoming vehicle.

Both drivers were taken by helicopter to a Spokane hospital. The State Patrol says both vehicles were totaled and both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
