SPOKANE, Wash. —

A Spokane policeman who is under investigation has resigned and the Spokane County prosecutor's office is deciding if charges against the officer are warranted.

Police Chief Frank Straub said Tuesday that Officer Jeff Graves has resigned effective immediately.

The department placed Graves on leave last month after a woman complained that he was stalking and harassing her after they met on Facebook.
