Trapped horse rescued from Wash. ravine

Animal rescuers have freed a small horse with a big appetite for adventure after the mare apparently found herself trapped down a ravine in the Seattle suburb of Redmond.

REDMOND, Wash. —

Animal rescuers have freed a small horse with a big appetite for adventure after the mare apparently found herself trapped down a ravine in the Seattle suburb of Redmond.

Search teams ended up slipping a harness around Jemma, then hauling her out by hand on Tuesday. She reportedly suffered only a few scratches and bruises.

After the rescue, property owner Barbara Linstedt told KOMO-TV, in her words, "I am just so happy."
