Everett police: train knocks pedestrian into water

An Everett, Wash., police spokesman says a train traveling along the city's waterfront hit a pedestrian Tuesday evening, knocking the person into Possession Sound. Divers have recovered a body.

EVERETT, Wash. —

An Everett, Wash., police spokesman says a train traveling along the city's waterfront hit a pedestrian Tuesday evening, knocking the person into Possession Sound. Divers have recovered a body.

KOMO-TV reports ( http://is.gd/jy0G9S) that police spokesman Aaron Snell says the collision happened about 7:45 p.m. near Harborview Park.

Additional details were not immediately available.
