PENDLETON, Ore. —

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife confirms that wolves from the Umatilla River pack have killed four sheep on private land near Weston in northeast Oregon.

The East Oregonian says Fish and Wildlife reports the predators killed three lambs and one ewe Tuesday in a small penned pasture on the property.

Officials say large tracks were found and bite wounds on the sheep indicate a wolf attack.
