Wash. police detain man after drivers' calls

Police in Lynnwood, Wash., have detained a man after drivers at an Interstate 5 on-ramp called 911 to report a man pointing looked like a gun at passing vehicles.

LYNNWOOD, Wash. —

Police in Lynnwood, Wash., have detained a man after drivers at an Interstate 5 on-ramp called 911 to report a man pointing looked like a gun at passing vehicles.

Police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said the reports came in Friday afternoon.

The spokeswoman said a 29-year-old man was taken to the city jail for investigation of unlawful display of a weapon.

She says police continue to investigate.
