YAKIMA, Wash. —

Police say a woman found shot to death in an abandoned Yakima house had a history of run-ins with police and was known to belong to a group of squatters.

Police released the name of 28-year-old Verenis Fabiola Ramos on Monday after withholding it for investigation reasons.

The body was found last week by a neighbor. No arrests have been announced.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (http://bit.ly/1a0dpKv) Ramos served time in jail in 2011 for robbery and was arrested earlier this year for attempting to elude police.
