Mill Creek officer, suspect injured in crash

A Mill Creek police officer and a fleeing driver were injured in a collision about 1 a.m. Friday in a Snohomish County intersection.

MILL CREEK, Wash. —

A Mill Creek police officer and a fleeing driver were injured in a collision about 1 a.m. Friday in a Snohomish County intersection.

KIRO reports the chase began in Mountlake Terrace.

The suspect's car caught fire after the crash. The suspect and officer were both taken to a hospital.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating.
