About three dozen people were evacuated from an apartment fire about 2:30 a.m. Monday in West Seattle and took shelter in a nearby library.

About three dozen people were evacuated from an apartment fire about 2:30 a.m. Monday in West Seattle and took shelter in a nearby library.

KIRO-TV reports all were allowed to return after the smoke cleared, except for the residents of the unit were the fire started.

The fire reportedly started on a stove.
