A horse arena at Oso in Snohomish County turns into an English tournament festival from the Middle Ages when a group called the Seattle Knights goes jousting at the Rhodes River Ranch.

OSO, Wash. —

A horse arena at Oso in Snohomish County turns into an English tournament festival from the Middle Ages when a group called the Seattle Knights goes jousting at the Rhodes River Ranch.

The Daily Herald reports ( http://bit.ly/10G9wfu) the highlight of the show is when six knights in armor take turns riding at each other on horseback with lances, trying to break a shield or knock down the opponent.

The Seattle Knights is a theater company that performs every other month at the restaurant in the indoor arena at Oso.
