Gang shooting suspect arrested in Tacoma standoff

A four-hour police standoff at a Tacoma motel ended early Monday with the arrest of a man suspected of a gang-related shooting last Tuesday in Lakewood.

TACOMA, Wash. —

A four-hour police standoff at a Tacoma motel ended early Monday with the arrest of a man suspected of a gang-related shooting last Tuesday in Lakewood.

The News Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/YOr3OI) 26-year-old Lakeem Green was booked into the Pierce County jail for investigation of assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Police recovered a gun believed to have been used in shooting the victim who remains in serious condition.
