SPOKANE, Wash. —

Law officers from two counties are looking for the body of a missing teenager from the small town of Malden in Whitman County.

Acting on a tip, officers from both the Whitman County Sheriff's Office and the Spokane County Sheriff's Office are looking for the body in a rural area of northern Spokane County.

Officers are looking for 17-year-old Donavin Stapert, who has been missing since March 8.

Three people have already been arrested in the case. Authorities believe Stapert died on or about March 7 at a Malden home and his body was moved to another location.
