New trial considered in Ephrata teen murder
A judge in Ephrata is considering whether to move the re-trial for a man who was convicted of killing a friend in 2003 when he was 12 years old.

A judge in Ephrata is considering whether to move the re-trial for a man who was convicted of killing a friend in 2003 when he was 12 years old.
A state Court of Appeals threw out Evan Savoie's murder conviction in 2011 over a judge's error.
At Friday's hearing defense lawyers are arguing they want the case moved out of Grant County.
Savoie was one of the youngest people tried as an adult when he was convicted and sentenced to 26 years in prison for the death of 13-year-old Craig Sorger at a recreational vehicle park. He was beaten and stabbed 34 times.
Another boy testified against Savoie in a plea deal.
