Yakima stabbing victim was city resident

A man who was found dead Tuesday in a Yakima parking lot has been identified as a 70-year-old Yakima resident.

YAKIMA, Wash. —

A man who was found dead Tuesday in a Yakima parking lot has been identified as a 70-year-old Yakima resident.

County Coroner Jack Hawkins told the Yakima Herald-Republic (http://bit.ly/16N7bim) his name was found on a dental plate.

The man had been beaten and stabbed with something that caused puncture wounds.

Police are investigating.
