Moses Lake teen may be tried as adult for shooting
Police say a 14-year-old Moses Lake boy shot his parents because he was angry at being grounded for being tardy at school.

KXLY reports (http://bit.ly/Y6VVcX) bail was set Monday at $500,000 for Nathon Brooks. Prosecutors are seeking to try him as an adult on attempted murder charges.
The Columbia Basin Herald reports (http://bit.ly/Y6WjZ1) he's accused of shooting his parents, Jonothan and Elizabeth Brooks, in the head Friday in their bedroom. Both are hospitalized.
