Police in the northwest Washington community of Sedro-Woolley say a shooting that killed one man and seriously wounded another at an apartment complex is likely gang-related.
Lt. William Tucker said police found a man in his mid-30s dead Monday evening at the Cascade View apartment complex. A man in his late 20s was taken to Skagit Valley Hospital. KOMO-TV reported that second man was in critical condition.
Police were questioning two apartment complex residents and looking for a third person of interest.
Tucker says he believes the shooting was gang-related and may be retaliation for a recent shooting outside of Sedro-Woolley.
The Skagit Valley Herald reports that security has been tightened at the hospital.
Sedro-Woolley is about 60 miles north of Seattle.
