Authorities say two men have been stabbed in the parking lot outside a Starbucks coffee shop in Vancouver, Wash. A third man has been detained.

KATU-TV of Portland, Ore., reports ( http://is.gd/WbNq0r) that one man was seriously hurt while another man's injuries were minor. The stabbing was reported about 5 p.m. Monday.

Witness Alyssa Case says she saw several men come out of the Starbucks and grab another man who was holding a knife. They then helped the victims.

Police say there's no longer a threat to public safety.

It wasn't immediately clear what led to the stabbing.
