The King County executive has ordered an inquest into the fatal police shooting of a man in January outside a Seattle nightclub.
A date for the inquest in King County District Court has not yet been set. A jury will answer questions the county prosecutor may consider in deciding whether to file charges.
Police say Officer Anthony Ducre killed 32-year-old James D. Anderson in a shootout after he had wounded his girlfriend and a doorman at the Twilight Exit. Anderson had been kicked out after arguing with his girlfriend and returned with a gun.
