Gov. Inslee to make weld on new Washington ferry
The Washington Transportation Department says Gov. Jay Inslee will make the first arc welds Friday at the keel laying for the new ferry Samish at the Vigor shipyard in Seattle.

The Washington Transportation Department says Gov. Jay Inslee will make the first arc welds Friday at the keel laying for the new ferry Samish at the Vigor shipyard in Seattle.
The Samish is the second new 144-car ferry after the Tokitae (toh-kee-tay).
