Castle Rock knocks off Chelan 52-44
Tierney Uhlenkott led three Castle Rock players in double figures with 23 points and the unbeaten Rockets beat Chelan 52-44 in the Class 1A girls state semifinals on Friday.

Tierney Uhlenkott led three Castle Rock players in double figures with 23 points and the unbeaten Rockets beat Chelan 52-44 in the Class 1A girls state semifinals on Friday.
The win sends the Rockets (26-0) into Saturday's 3 p.m. championship game against either Brewster or King's. Maddi Seidl added 12 points and added Macee Utecht 11 for Castle Rock.
Uhlenkott scored 17 of her points in the first half as the Rockets built a 31-21 advantage.
Chelan, led by Courtney Dietrich's 16 points, pulled within 37-35 early in the fourth quarter, but couldn't get any closer. Abby Phelps added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Goats (20-6). Dietrich also grabbed 10 rebounds.
