Pullman rallies in 2nd half to beat Renton

Corey Langerveld scored 11 of his 13 points in the second half as Pullman beat Renton 51-41 on Friday in the Class 2A boys state semifinals.
The win sends the Greyhounds (26-1) into Saturday's 9 p.m. championship game against either defending champion Lynden or Anacortes.
David Ungerer also scored 13 points for Pullman, which put the game away late at the free-throw line by hitting 7 of 11 shots.
Renton took a 26-22 halftime lead but struggled offensively in the second half, converting just 5 of 18 shots. Lavelle Smith led the Indians (24-3) with 13 points, but had only four after intermission.
Race Martin grabbed nine rebounds for Pullman, and Smith had eight for Renton.
