A woman was shot as she left a movie theater Thursday night in Union Gap.

Police Sgt. Monty McNearney told Yakima Herald-Republic ( http://bit.ly/WrGYnM) multiple shots were fired about 8:40 p.m. as the woman was leaving the Majestic Theatre. She was taken to a hospital, condition unknown.

Bullets also shattered a glass door.

KIMA reports ( http://bit.ly/WrFWbv) the woman was hit in the head.

Police surrounded a nearby Toys R Us store and searched the roof, but there are no reports of an arrest.
