SPOKANE, Wash. —

Sami Robinson had 19 points and seven rebounds as Pe Ell beat Onalaska 41-37 on Thursday to advance to the semifinals of the Class 2B girls state tournament.

Alissa Brooks Johnson added 12 points for the Trojans (22-1). Autumn Druand scored 12 points for the Loggers (19-6), who will play in a loser-out game.

After Durand pulled Onalaska to within 38-37 with 50 seconds left, Mattie Miller answered with a basket to push the lead back to three for Pe Ell. After an Onalaska miss, Robinson was intentionally fouled and sank 1 of 2 to seal the win.

Pe Ell threatened to break the game open in the third quarter, turning a 22-21 deficit into a 33-24 lead behind a jumper and a 3-pointer from Sami Robinson. A 7-0 run by Onalaska cut the Pe Ell lead to 35-34 midway through the fourth quarter.
