Pomeroy tops Christian Faith 60-55
Riley Bolt had 19 points and 10 rebounds as Pomeroy beat Christian Faith 60-55 on Thursday to advance to the semifinals of the Class 1B boys state tournament.

Riley Bolt had 19 points and 10 rebounds as Pomeroy beat Christian Faith 60-55 on Thursday to advance to the semifinals of the Class 1B boys state tournament.
Tanner Fieder and Cody LaMunyan added 16 points apiece for the Pirates (20-6). Makaran Toor scored 18 points for the Eagles (21-4), who will play in a loser-out game.
Pomeroy went up 57-48 on LaMunyan's putback with 2:12 left, and seemed to be in control. But Christian Faith answered with a bucket by Segun Amosun and a 3-pointer by Toor to close within 57-53 with 40 seconds left.
The Pirates closed it out at the foul line.
Christian Faith led 13-6 on 3s from Afari Stinson-Richardson and Toor. But Fieder brought Pomeroy back, scoring 12 points in the second quarter as the Pirates grabbed a 31-24 halftime lead.
Amosun and Stinson-Richardson each added 13 points for Christian Faith.
