TACOMA, Wash. —

Elijah Foster had 17 points and 10 rebounds Thursday to lead Rainier Beach to a 60-52 victory over Seattle Prep in the boys 3A tournament.

The Vikings (23-4) will face Franklin, who they have already beaten three times this season, in Friday's semifinal. Rainier Beach beat Seattle Prep in last year's 3A title game.

The Panthers (20-9) led 26-19 late in the first half, but Rainier Beach scored the last five points of the half then opened the second half with a 12-2 spurt. Foster, a 6-foot-7 junior, scored seven points in that second-half run.

D.J. Fenner led Seattle Prep with 24 points - 14 in the second half.

Rainier Beach's Shaqquan Aaron played just seven minutes because of a sore groin. The Louisville recruit missed out on a chance to play in front of Cardinals coach Rick Pitino, who was in town to watch the tournament.
