A Thurston County sheriff's spokesman says a woman's body has been found in a remote, wooded location near Old Highway 101.

Lt. Greg Elwin told The Olympian (http://is.gd/RvQO06) the body was intact and partially clothed.

State Department of Natural Resources workers found the remains Thursday afternoon.

Due to rainy weather and the remote location, Elwin said detectives planned to secure the scene and continue investigating on Friday.
