Anacortes knocks off Clover Park 59-51
Andrew Medalia scored 13 of his game-high 16 points in the second half to lead Anacortes to a 59-51 victory over Clover Park in the Class 2A boys state tournament quarterfinals Thursday.

Andrew Medalia scored 13 of his game-high 16 points in the second half to lead Anacortes to a 59-51 victory over Clover Park in the Class 2A boys state tournament quarterfinals Thursday.
Medalia, who made just one shot in the first half, converted 3 of 5 in the second half and made 8 of 14 free throws. He also pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds and had two blocked shots and two steals.
Matt Aldridge added 13 points, three assists and three steals, and A.J. Yost chipped in 12 points for the Seahawks (21-5), who shot 45 percent (20 of 44) from the field.
Philip Winston scored 13 points to lead the Warriors (20-7).
