TACOMA, Wash. —

Terry Dawn delivered for Arlington in the Class 4A quarterfinals Thursday.

The Eagles' senior finished with 23 points, 13 rebounds and three blocked shots during a 72-60 victory over Richland at the Tacoma Dome.

Arlington (22-3) advances to the state semifinals for the first time in school history and will play for a spot in the title game at 5:30 p.m. Friday. The Bombers (19-5), who had won seven straight and 12 of 13, will play in a consolation game.

Dawn had plenty of help from his teammates with Noah Jones scoring 20 points to go with eight rebounds, while Kaleb Bryson scored 15 points.

Nathan Streufert led Richland with 20 points and eight rebounds.
