YAKIMA, Wash. —

Ashley Adams banked in a driving basket with 2 seconds remaining - her only points of the game - to give King's a 41-40 win over Okanogan in the Class 1A girls state quarterfinals on Thursday.

Keanna Egbert had given Okanogan (20-7) a one-point lead with her own layup with 1:29 to play.

Daylee Hanson led King's (18-8) with 14 points, and Kendall Adams and Anna Parker each added eight.

Kara Staggs led Okanogan with 10 points, and Caitlyn Behymer pulled down seven rebounds.
