Pullman races past Burlington-Edison 56-36

YAKIMA, Wash. —

Race Martin and Tanner Therrien each scored 13 points to lead second-ranked Pullman to a 56-36 quarterfinal victory over Burlington-Edison in the Class 2A boys state tournament on Thursday.

AJ Miles chipped in 10 points, including sinking a pair of 3-pointers as the Greyhounds (25-1) used a 10-0 run to break at 27-27 third-quarter tie, and David Ungerer also had 10 points.

Isaak Davies scored 13 points to lead Burlington-Edison (17-9), which never got closer than eight points after Pullman's third-quarter run. Austin Von Herbulis pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds.
