Police say a man suffered a critical head wound in a gang shooting in Wapato.

Police say two known gang members were walking into a store Wednesday afternoon when shots were fired at them and a man in his 20s was hit at least once in the head. He was taken to a Yakima hospital in critical condition.

Wapato Police Chief Tracy Rosenow told KAPP ( http://bit.ly/15kOvos) there are several gang houses in the area and there's violence when rivals see each other.
