FEDERAL WAY, Wash. —

The King County medical examiner's office says bones found last week in a wooded area of Federal Way, Wash., have been identified as the remains of a 43-year-old man reported missing last March 12.

Crime Stoppers of Tacoma-Pierce County says Faatoaga Ufuti was last seen at his Lakewood, Wash., house before his wife fell asleep. She awoke to find the father of three gone.

A boy playing in the woods found a leg bone on Feb. 22. A search turned up additional remains.

The death is under investigation.
