Spokane police ombudsman recommends inquests
Spokane Police Ombudsman Tim Burns says the city should use inquest juries whenever law enforcement is involved in a death.

Spokane Police Ombudsman Tim Burns says the city should use inquest juries whenever law enforcement is involved in a death.
Burns made the recommendation at Monday night's city council meeting.
KREM reports (http://bit.ly/WoEiSk) a medical examiner's inquest would look into the cause and circumstances of deaths to make details public and help the families left behind.
