HOQUIAM, Wash. —

A Hoquiam store clerk grabbed a shoplifter trying to run away, but she bit his hand to get away.

Police told KBKW (kbkw.com) and KXRO (http://bit.ly/XqeTe8) the clerk ran after the shoplifter Tuesday after she ran out of the store with four beers. He caught up with her a short distance from the store but let go after his hand was bitten.

Police tracked a suspect through a yard and arrested an 18-year-old Aberdeen woman for investigation of robbery.
