Tests confirm Yakima panhandler died of drug OD
Toxicology tests confirmed that a panhandler found dead in his car outside a Yakima fast food restaurant died of a drug overdose.

Toxicology tests confirmed that a panhandler found dead in his car outside a Yakima fast food restaurant died of a drug overdose.
County coroner Jack Hawkins said 56-year-old Douglas D. Budd had high levels of cocaine and heroin in his system.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (http://bit.ly/YEihQX) Budd was found dead on New Year's Day with $1,700 in cash and a half-pound of heroin in his car. Police said he had a hypodermic needle in his arm.
He was known as a frequent panhandler at a busy Yakima intersection.
