Police in Puyallup (Pew-AL-up), Wash., say a Sounder commuter train struck and killed a pedestrian Wednesday evening in that community southeast of Tacoma.

Police in Puyallup (Pew-AL-up), Wash., say a Sounder commuter train struck and killed a pedestrian Wednesday evening in that community southeast of Tacoma.
Department spokesman Scott Engle says the fatality happened near 15th Street Southeast and East Pioneer Street.
Police are investigating.
