The Seattle Seahawks have officially hired Travis Jones as their new defensive line coach and Nick Sorensen as coaching assistant/special teams coach.

Also Wednesday, the Seahawks signed former Green Bay and New York Giants cornerback/kick returner Will Blackmon.

Jones spent the last five seasons as an assistant defensive line coach in New Orleans. His first NFL job was in Miami in 2005 where he was on staff with new Seattle defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.
