KENNEWICK, Wash. —

Tri-City Animal Control has set traps in Kennewick's Columbia Park to catch stray cats that have been killing off birds.

A few stray cats have turned into an estimate of more than 50 cats along the Audubon Trail.

KEPR reports ( http://bit.ly/VS5V5W) rescue groups are trying to find homes for the tamer animals but fully feral cats will be killed.
