The Washington State Patrol says a man who is suspected of driving under the influence went the wrong way on Highway 8 near Olympia Monday night and collided with two other cars.
The 31-year-old Shelton man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with his injuries. A baby girl in a car seat in his car was apparently unhurt but was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
Trooper Guy Gill told The Olympian ( http://bit.ly/12ICQ4d) the man was driving the wrong way for miles before crashing.
His car sideswiped one car and hit another car head-on. The women driving those cars were taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia with non-life-threatening injuries.
