Tribal elder killed in Port Angeles crash

The Clallam County sheriff's office says an elder of the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe, 69-year-old Philip D. Adams of Port Angeles, was killed Saturday in a crash.

PORT ANGELES, Wash. —

The Clallam County sheriff's office says an elder of the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe, 69-year-old Philip D. Adams of Port Angeles, was killed Saturday in a crash.

The truck he was driving went over an embankment near Port Angeles. Fire department medics tried to save him, but he died at the scene.
