DOC makes interim assignments to top E. Ore. posts
The Oregon Department of Corrections has named two people to top posts in Eastern Oregon on an interim basis.

The Oregon Department of Corrections has named two people to top posts in Eastern Oregon on an interim basis.
The East Oregonian reports ( http://bit.ly/11xv9ys) reports Steven Franke was named interim eastside institutions administrator for the Oregon Department of Corrections.
Jeri Taylor was named interim superintendent of Two Rivers Correctional Institution in Umatilla.
Franke will oversee the six prisons east of the Cascades that house more than half of the 14,200 adults in department custody.
He joined the department in 1985 as a corrections officer at Oregon State Penitentiary in Salem.
Taylor began her career with the department in 1984 and joined the security staff in 1986 as an officer. She was later assigned to supervise the temporary housing of 180 female inmates at Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution in Pendleton.
