The Interior Department says Secretary Ken Salazar will be in Seattle Sunday to announce a National Park Service initiative at the Wing Luke Museum.
The initiative will recognize the heritage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
National Park Service Director Jonathan Jarvis and Sens. Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell also will be on hand for the announcement.
The museum is located in Seattle's Chinatown-International District. It says it's the nation's only museum devoted to the Asian Pacific American experience.
