Employees and volunteers of the Pearson Air Museum moved planes and exhibits out of their hangar Tuesday in Vancouver.

They told The Columbian (http://bit.ly/Yaq8Ea) they were given short notice by the National Park Service, which owns the hangar and is taking over the keys Wednesday.

The Park Service says it wants to run the museum, which is operated by the Fort Vancouver National Trust on the behalf of the city.

The city is fighting the takeover and Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (BUHT'-ler) is drafting legislation to turn the land over to the city.
