On abandoned boat sank early Friday on the Hylebos Waterway in Tacoma and it's tied to another vessel that is listing.

Officials say the boats are derelicts - 167 and 130 feet long - that were intended to be dismantled.

Fuel was removed nearly a year ago, so there's not a threat of major spill. The fire department deployed booms to contain any pollution.

The Coast Guard and state Ecology Department have responded.
